Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Limited (KMAMC) is a public limited company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 on August 2, 1994. It serves as the asset manager for Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund (KMMF) and operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (KMBL).
Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund, established in December 1998, holds the distinction of being the first AMC to introduce a dedicated gilt fund, focusing solely on Government securities.
Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has been consistently among the largest mutual funds in terms of AUM (Assets Under Management).
