Annualised return

Annualised return shows the rate at which an investment has grown per year over a given period, taking compounding into account. It is useful when comparing investments held for different lengths of time. For example, if ₹1 lakh grows to about ₹1.33 lakh over three years, the annualised return is approximately 10% per year.
